I love the examples you provided. I think when UX people are working on paper they are more aware of the technical limitations then if say working in Photoshop, or another prototyping tool.

I always start out on paper and then progressively work my way. Wireframes (photoshop), Graphical Mocks (photoshop), Interactive PDf&#039;s, and HTML if necessary.  It&#039;s great to be able to know when you need to use certain tools. 

For example I try to use a lot of css / html in my hybrid mocks with interactive pdf&#039;s. That way I can actually use some of the code (Grids, tables, forms,etc..) when finally working on the end product.</description>
