In focus, lifehacked, and rollin’ rollin’ rollin’

It’s been a busy week. What has probably been the longest break I’ve taken between posts (4 days) has also been one of my busiest weeks since starting my company 4 years ago. Not that I’m complaining though - it’s a positive reassurance that going full time was the right decision. Y’know, like that feeling that everything’s going to be just fine. It feels great!

Freelancer Focus at Graphic Design BlogIn light of all this freelancerness, I wanted to draw your attention over to the Graphic Design Blog where I am the latest specimen under examination as part of a weekly segment called ‘Freelancer Focus’. The Graphic Design Blog is a great site to get insight and perspective on graphic design, freelancing, illustration, advertising, and web design, and is run and authored by UK graphic designer Tara. GDB plays a valued part of my RSS design roster (which compliment my entrepreneurial reads), and I’m happy to have my mug featured there. Head over and give it a read!

Waking up this morning, I was also pleased to find that my article on 5 ways to better manage your team virtually has been featured on lifehack.org. Certainly a new milestone for this blog!

If you’ve arrived here from either of those sites: welcome! While you’re here, grab a seat and take in some of the other reading material this site has to offer:

And on a closing note, I’m thrilled that I picked up my new 2008 Mitsubishi Lancer GTS yesterday! I was fortunate to have been able to pick it up two weeks from my ordering time, despite the common two-month waiting list. And the fact that the dealership told me that my model is likely going to be going up in price and will only be available in limited quantities going forward (to be replaced by a Special Edition model) is just icing on the cake. It certainly helps to put more emphasis on the free in ‘freelancer’!

Pictures to be posted soon. Stay tuned.

Update: Here are some pictures taken this morning. Enjoy!
